Operations Associate
Bring sunday to life in Dallas restaurants — lead hands-on launches, train teams, and improve partner success while helping shape a fast-growing hospitality technology company.
👋 About Us
sunday is building the fastest, simplest way to pay in restaurants. With a quick scan of a QR code, diners can pay, tip, and leave in about 10 seconds. We believe great products should feel obvious, not complicated, and we focus relentlessly on keeping things simple while earning trust from restaurants and guests at every interaction. Today, sunday powers payments in thousands of restaurants across the US, UK, and France, helping operators turn tables faster, increase tips, and unlock valuable insights. We push ourselves to go beyond what’s expected, building with ownership, moving fast, and scaling with ambition as we tackle our biggest growth opportunity in the US.
About the Role
As an Operations Associate at sunday, you’ll play a key role in supporting our US Operations team and delivering a best-in-class experience for restaurateurs. Once a restaurant decides to partner with us, you’ll help bring the partnership to life by working alongside our Operations teams to launch sunday at the restaurant from day one.
You’ll also support Operations Managers and Strategic Partner Managers in driving each restaurant’s continued success. This includes training managers and staff, gathering feedback from the field, and partnering cross-functionally to improve our product and maximize restaurant usage. This is a highly hands-on, field-based role, with approximately 90% of your time spent working directly with restaurants.
With thousands of restaurants in the mix, we operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We’re looking for someone who thrives in that kind of setting, is highly detail-oriented, enjoys checking things off a list, and works well collaboratively across teams. If that sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.
You’ll report to the Senior Operations Manager and collaborate daily with teammates in Atlanta, Chicago, New York, London, Paris, and beyond.
This position may include up to 50% travel to other market locations.
This position requires the candidate to be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Join early, grow fast, and shape the journey!

Schedule and run training sessions with our restaurant partners to ensure all manager and staff members are trained.
Provide in the field support for your region’s Operations team – ranging from onboardings to retrainings, and regular drop-ins.
Coordinate with Account Executives, Operations Managers, and our internal technical teams to keep things running smoothly.
Assist with special projects, ad hoc audits, and general data hygiene to ensure clean, accurate records across systems.
Contribute ideas and feedback to improve our processes and help reduce the time from signed deal to restaurant launch.
