👋 About Us
sunday is building the fastest, simplest way to pay in restaurants. With a quick scan of a QR code, diners can pay, tip, and leave in about 10 seconds. We believe great products should feel obvious, not complicated, and we focus relentlessly on keeping things simple while earning trust from restaurants and guests at every interaction. Today, sunday powers payments in thousands of restaurants across the US, UK, and France, helping operators turn tables faster, increase tips, and unlock valuable insights. We push ourselves to go beyond what’s expected, building with ownership, moving fast, and scaling with ambition as we tackle our biggest growth opportunity in the US.
About the Role
As the founding Head of Enterprise Operations for the UK market, your ultimate goal will be to make sunday's Enterprise portfolio successful, scalable and commercially valuable.
You'll own the operational journey of Enterprise clients from pilot through rollout and ongoing optimisation. You'll create the operating model, governance and cross-functional discipline needed to manage complex Enterprise groups with clarity and consistency - while making sure our clients see the value of sunday at every stage of the relationship.
You'll lead up to six direct reports across Enterprise Account Managers and Associates, and report to Josh Cosnett, Head of UK. You'll work closely with Product, Tech, Sales and Onboarding, as well as senior stakeholders on the client side. This is a fast-paced, data- and detail-oriented team with a strong written culture and an 80:20 approach: focus on what matters most, move quickly, and keep raising the bar.
This role is a rare opportunity to shape how sunday operates with its most strategic customers. You'll bring together operational leadership, client execution, commercial thinking and cross-functional coordination to create more value for Enterprise merchants, and build the stickiness that turns successful deployments into lasting partnerships.
Join early, grow fast, and shape the journey!
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Enterprise rollouts
Own the operational delivery of Enterprise clients in the UK, from pilot through full rollout and optimisation.
Build clear rollout plans, milestones, governance, and escalation paths with Onboarding and relevant teams.
Maintain visibility on progress, risks, blockers, owners, and next steps.
Identify issues early, drive resolution, and create playbooks for repeatable, efficient deployments.
2. Drive adoption and performance
Create adoption plans for strategic Enterprise accounts and turn performance data into clear actions.
Improve the full adoption journey, from initial activation to sustained usage.
Identify and remove operational, product, and behavioural barriers.
Share benchmarks and best practices from high-performing locations across the portfolio.
3. Protect retention and account health
Ensure Enterprise clients receive consistently strong operational support and execution.
Define and monitor account health indicators, including adoption, engagement, NPS, operational performance, and commercial risk.
Create clear intervention plans for at-risk accounts, with owners, timelines, and mitigation actions.
Partner with Account Management on executive engagement, retention, and client relationships.
4. Drive expansion opportunities
Identify opportunities to expand sunday’s footprint and product usage within existing Enterprise groups.
Build operational playbooks for products including PDQ, Hybrid deployments, Zone Management, Loyalty, CRM, and Guest Platform.
Partner with Sales and Account Management to turn successful deployments into commercial expansion.
Support pilots and build the operational and commercial case for wider rollout.
5. Build governance and operational excellence
Create a single, transparent view of Enterprise account health, rollout progress, adoption, risks, and opportunities.
Standardise QBRs, account planning, executive reporting, and weekly and monthly operating cadences.
Ensure actions have clear owners, deadlines, and escalation paths.
Turn successful approaches into scalable processes instead of relying on ad hoc problem-solving.
6. Lead cross-functional execution and the team
Act as the operational point of coordination for complex Enterprise accounts.
Align Account Management, Onboarding, Sales, Product, Tech, Support, and Operations around shared priorities.
Clarify ownership across the client lifecycle and surface recurring issues that require scalable solutions.
Represent Enterprise client needs internally while balancing them with sunday’s priorities.
Lead and develop a high-performing team of Enterprise Account Managers and Associates.
