Sales Program Manager - Payment Terminal
Own the growth of sunday’s payment terminal business in France — turn data into action, empower sales, and shape the future of restaurant payments.
👋 About Us
sunday is building the fastest, simplest way to pay in restaurants. With a quick scan of a QR code, diners can pay, tip, and leave in about 10 seconds. We believe great products should feel obvious, not complicated, and we focus relentlessly on keeping things simple while earning trust from restaurants and guests at every interaction. Today, sunday powers payments in thousands of restaurants across the US, UK, and France, helping operators turn tables faster, increase tips, and unlock valuable insights. We push ourselves to go beyond what’s expected, building with ownership, moving fast, and scaling with ambition as we tackle our biggest growth opportunity in the US.
About the Role
As PDQ Sales Program Manager at sunday, your mission will be to drive the commercial performance of our payment terminal business, also known as PDQ, in France.
PDQ represents approximately 60% of French signings and is at the heart of our acquisition growth. You will own everything that drives this performance, from defining the ICP and pricing rules to rep enablement, outreach sequences, and the product feedback loop.
You will be the driving force behind the PDQ business in France. You will set the pace, identify performance levers, and ensure that action plans are effectively executed.
You will report directly to the Revenue Manager and work at the intersection of Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance. This is a rare role with broad scope and real influence on the trajectory of sunday France.
Join early, grow fast, and shape the journey!
Key Responsibilities
1. PDQ Analytics and Performance
You will be responsible for turning performance data into decisions, and decisions into results. You will not simply monitor PDQ activity. You will identify growth levers, define priorities, and mobilize teams to activate them.
Manage PDQ activity on a daily and long-term basis, identifying gaps against targets, growth opportunities, and priority actions to implement with sales managers and reps.
Produce and lead weekly and monthly PDQ business reviews covering new logos, PDQ GTV, conversion rate, deal cycle, PDQ versus QR mix, and performance by team and rep. The objective is not only to present the numbers, but to generate decisions and action plans.
Conduct monthly deep dives into individual PDQ rep performance, translate your analysis into concrete recommendations, and activate coaching levers with managers.
Own a live, reliable, and actionable PDQ dashboard that sales managers use to manage their activity and adjust their priorities.
2. PDQ ICP, pricing, and signing rules
Define and maintain the complete PDQ ICP framework, including target profiles by establishment type, size, and location, as well as the recommended sales approach, pricing, and signing rules.
Work with Finance and the Revenue Manager to formalize discount rules.
Ensure that every PDQ rep has clear decision guidelines covering which customers to sign and under what conditions.
3. PDQ enablement and training, from knowledge to adoption
Organize regular PDQ call shadowing sessions, and design and lead dedicated training sessions covering pitches, objections, payment-terminal use cases, and pricing.
Keep all sales and training materials continuously up to date.
Measure and drive actual adoption through usage rates, validation quizzes, and field observation. The objective is daily usage, not simply attendance at training sessions.
4. PDQ GTM coordination, outreach, and Revenue Engineering
Coordinate with GTM Engineering on PDQ targeting lists, including payment-terminal ICP criteria and enrichment, outbound sequences, and A/B tests.
Coordinate with Marketing on PDQ campaigns, positioning, and referral programs.
Prioritize the PDQ Revenue Engineering backlog with the Head of Sales Excellence.
5. PDQ product feedback loop and Voice of the Customer
Collect feedback from the field and share it with the Product team in an actionable format.
Work closely with Payment Terminal Operations on post-sale topics, including installation, adoption, and early churn.
Lead win/loss analyses on payment-terminal deals and contribute to the PDQ roadmap.
About You
5 to 7 years of experience in Sales Operations, RevOps, GTM, or Product Marketing.
Previous experience managing the go-to-market strategy for a product or channel in a B2B commercial environment.
Comfortable driving cross-functional projects across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product without direct reporting authority.
Experience in a high-growth environment. SaaS, FinTech, or payments experience is a strong plus.
What will set you apart
Analytical and strategic: you move from KPIs to action plans. You do not simply report on performance, you make decisions and drive progress.
Product-oriented: you understand the payment-terminal product, its ICP, and its friction points, and you actively contribute to improving it.
Cross-functional leadership: you align teams without direct authority and make things happen.
Executive-ready communication: you can present a strategic recommendation to the Leadership Team.
Entrepreneurial, builder, and owner mindset: you take ownership of topics from end to end, even when the framework is still being built. You identify opportunities, move forward with the information available, test quickly, and take responsibility for results. Ambiguity does not hold you back. It gives you the space to create, make decisions, and drive progress.
