Product Operations Manager
Join sunday as Product Operations Manager (France): own launches, run pilots, and turn what’s shipped into real restaurant impact.
👋 About Us
sunday is building the fastest, simplest way to pay in restaurants. With a quick scan of a QR code, diners can pay, tip, and leave in about 10 seconds. We believe great products should feel obvious, not complicated, and we focus relentlessly on keeping things simple while earning trust from restaurants and guests at every interaction. Today, sunday powers payments in thousands of restaurants across the US, UK, and France, helping operators turn tables faster, increase tips, and unlock valuable insights. We push ourselves to go beyond what’s expected, building with ownership, moving fast, and scaling with ambition as we tackle our biggest growth opportunity in the US.
About the Role
As a Product Operations Manager, you own that gap. You are the bridge between what gets shipped and what actually drives results in your market. This is not a support role. You are accountable for outcomes, not activity.
You'll join a team of 3 POMs, each responsible for a different territory (France, UK, and the US). The team is 6 months old, which means everything is still being built, from team processes to how Product and Operations work together. France is sunday's biggest market, where tech and product are in-house and where the majority of new products are launched first. That makes this role central to how sunday grows. Join early, grow fast, and shape the journey!
Key Responsibilities
Field execution of company-level OKRs
• Turn global OKRs into clear, executable plans for the French market
• Design and lead field activation strategies: training, communication, stakeholder alignment
• Maintain sharp visibility on progress, risks, and blockers
• Feed structured insights back to Product and Engineering
• Ensure product strategy stays aligned with company goals
Go-to-market for new products and major features
• Own the gap between what is shipped and what is actually used
• Prepare local field teams ahead of every launch
• Run pilots and early rollouts — iterate quickly based on real results
• Build structured, repeatable feedback loops from the field to Product
• Influence prioritization by surfacing what will drive the most concrete impact
Enterprise account orchestration
• Orchestrate discussions between enterprise clients and Product Engineering
• Start from the enterprise problem — not from feature requests
• Ensure complex enterprise needs are addressed without fragmenting the product
• Own key enterprise relationships and operate autonomously on product development prioritization
4.Third-party and market-specific integrations
• Drive integrations specific to France: POS systems, loyalty solutions, external partners
• Coordinate between Product Engineering, partners, and local teams
• Own rollout, readiness, and follow-up to ensure integrations are stable and impactful
