👋 About Us
sunday is building the fastest, simplest way to pay in restaurants. With a quick scan of a QR code, diners can pay, tip, and leave in about 10 seconds. We believe great products should feel obvious, not complicated, and we focus relentlessly on keeping things simple while earning trust from restaurants and guests at every interaction. Today, sunday powers payments in thousands of restaurants across the US, UK, and France, helping operators turn tables faster, increase tips, and unlock valuable insights. We push ourselves to go beyond what’s expected, building with ownership, moving fast, and scaling with ambition as we tackle our biggest growth opportunity in the US.
We're hiring this role in the United States and London.
For U.S.-based candidates, we're prioritizing candidates in New York, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas.
This role works across a global organization and will collaborate regularly with teams in the United States, United Kingdom, and France.
About the Role
Build and Own Revenue Systems
Design, configure, and continuously improve the systems that power Sunday's global revenue organization.
Serve as a senior technical contributor across Salesforce while taking meaningful ownership across the broader GTM technology stack. Translate business problems into scalable system designs, workflows, data models, integrations, and automation.
Connect the GTM Technology Ecosystem
Own and improve how our commercial platforms work together.
Implement and optimize integrations across Salesforce and third-party technologies spanning sales engagement, conversational intelligence, contracting, billing, enrichment, data activation, and other GTM workflows.
Work confidently with APIs, webhooks, iPaaS and automation platforms, data synchronization, and system-of-record architecture. Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement durable solutions.
Own Data Architecture and System Integrity
Help establish a clean, trusted commercial data foundation.
Design scalable data models, relationships, hierarchies, lifecycle states, ownership models, and system boundaries. Improve data quality and governance while reducing conflicting logic, brittle automation, integration failures, and technical debt.
Build systems that remain understandable and maintainable as the business grows.
Automate and Innovate
Use automation and AI to make our systems and the people using them more effective.
Identify manual or fragmented workflows that can be simplified, automated, or eliminated. Evaluate and implement AI-assisted capabilities where they create meaningful business value, partnering closely with GTM Engineering and other technical teams on more advanced solutions.
Stay curious about emerging technology and continuously look for better ways to solve problems.
Lead From Problem to Production
Own systems initiatives end-to-end. Understand the problem, gather and challenge requirements, design the solution, build or coordinate implementation, test, deploy, document, and drive adoption.
You should be comfortable being handed an ambiguous business problem and independently creating structure around how to solve it.
Documentation is part of how we build. You'll maintain clear architecture, integration, process, and system documentation so that what we create can be understood, operated, and improved by others.
Join early, grow fast, and shape the journey!
About You
You combine deep Salesforce expertise with broader systems architecture instincts and strong commercial judgment.
You likely have:
5 to 8+ years of experience in Revenue Systems, Business Systems, Salesforce, GTM Technology, or a comparable technical role, ideally within B2B SaaS.
Deep hands-on Salesforce expertise, including data architecture, automation, Flow, permissions, reporting, governance, and integrations.
Meaningful experience owning and integrating multiple GTM technologies beyond Salesforce, not simply using them.
Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, integrations, iPaaS or middleware, automation, and data synchronization.
Experience designing scalable data models and understanding how information should move across interconnected business systems.
Strong understanding of end-to-end GTM processes such as lead-to-opportunity, account and territory management, pipeline management, opportunity-to-close, and quote-to-cash.
A track record of independently translating ambiguous business requirements into technical solutions and shipping them into production.
Practical experience using AI and automation to improve systems, workflows, or business processes.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex systems issues to their root cause.
A high standard for documentation, data quality, governance, and maintainability.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
A high degree of ownership, curiosity, and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.
Most importantly, you're a builder. When you encounter an unclear, inefficient, or broken system, your instinct is to understand how it works, why it works that way, and how to make it better.
Nice to Have
Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, or comparable certification.
Experience with a breadth of platforms such as Gong, Outreach, HubSpot, DocuSign, GetAccept, Ironclad, Chili Piper, LeanData, ZoomInfo, Clay, Hightouch, Workato, Zapier, n8n, or comparable technologies.
Experience with contracting, billing, CPQ, or quote-to-cash systems.
Experience supporting CRM migrations or major GTM technology transformations.
Experience partnering directly with GTM Engineers, software engineers, or data engineers.
Experience with Apex, SOQL, or other Salesforce development capabilities.
Experience implementing AI-assisted or agentic workflows within production business systems.
Experience supporting global teams or multiple commercial markets.
